UPS says it is investing over $2 billion across its International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions businesses. The investments, which began in 2024 will continue through 2028.

Projects underway include a new hub at Clark Airport in the Philippines expected to open in late 2026; a new Canadian facility in Barrie, Ontario, in 2027; and a new air hub at Hong Kong International Airport in 2028.

They form part of UPS’s recent investments in healthcare and other strategic market segments, including high-tech, automotive and industrial manufacturing.

Other investments include 27 temperature-controlled freight cross-dock facilities, a tech-enabled logistics center in Taiwan and an expanded Incheon air hub in South Korea, a UPS Supply Chain Solutions facility in Amsterdam, enhancements to the  intra-Asia air network and five times a week flights between Paris and Hong Kong and Shenzhen and Sydney.

Executive vice president and president of International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions, Kate Gutmann, said: “”These investments allow us to bring air, ground, brokerage and distribution together in one solution, with fewer handoffs, more end-to-end control and less complexity. Combined with real-time tracking and proactive monitoring, we can handle even the most temperature-sensitive, time-critical and high-value shipments … whether across town or around the world.”
