Air Canada to add two freighter gateways in Europe

Air Canada Cargo will launch a scheduled Boeing 767 freighter service to Liege, Belgium in February with flights to Basel expected to begin in April.

The Liege flights will operate twice per week initially, increasing to three flights per week later in the year. Basel, one of Europe’s premiere pharmaceutical hubs, will see two flights per week. They will originate in Toronto with a stop in Halifax.

The Canadian airline recently started freighter services to Dallas, Atlanta and Bogota.
