Kenya Airways Cargo has completed its first shipment of live cattle from Kenya to Nigeria, transporting more than 50 animals from Nairobi to Lagos on a dedicated charter from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The operation was handled under Kenya Airways Cargo’s KQ Live service, which supports the transportation of live animals through appropriate handling procedures and environmental controls. These include temperature regulation and ventilation measures intended to support animal welfare during transit.
